Christ Centered Aspirations

I’m Pastor Rick and I have a compelling desire to teach God’s Word book by book, verse by verse through the entire Bible. Before we can give out the full counsel of God’s Word to others, we need to be equipped and at least know the full counsel of His Word ourselves. Something I did when I received Christ as my Lord and Saviour in 1981, was to make a commitment to our Lord to read through His Word, Genesis to Revelation, once a year in my devotional time with Him. Believers who love the Lord should have a strong desire to know His Word, and they should want to learn how to apply it to the specific areas of their lives. Jesus commanded us to go into all the world and teach and preach the good news of the Gospel. I truly believe that if the Apostle Paul was living in our day, he would be using every tool we have to get the Gospel out to this world! This is my heart’s desire, we want to reach as many people for Christ as we can because our time on this earth is getting very short! Jesus is coming, and I believe it is sooner then we could ever think! As we study our Father’s Word together, may we know what He wants to do with each one of us, and may we be ready, instant in season and out of season, to give a reason of the hope that lies within us. My prayer is you would learn and enjoy the time we spend together as we have fellowship with our Father studying His Word.
